The installation wizard will walk you through the steps necessary tol install Nstein Web Content Management (WCM) on your server.

- Step 4 - Search, storage and services configuration
- Step 5 - Installation!
Please ensure the following have been done first
- Your database is installed and accessible by the WCM machine
- Your database user has the ability to create databases, or you have previously created two databases with the same prefix, and _sys and _biz as suffixes
- Make sure you have your php.ini path ready and make sure that it's the same that is used by the web server
- Make sure that php is in your command line and recognized as a external command. Having it in your path would be a plus since it will be detected at installation time. You will need to indicate the path at step 3 of installation. For example, let's say your php is in usr/bin, then set the path as usr/bin/
If you are using the Solr search service
- Solr is installed
- Solr is configured properly for WCM
- Solr is accessible by the WCM machine
If you are using Nstein Text-Mining Engine (TME)
- TME is installed and licenced
- TME native service is accessible by the WCM machine
If you are using ODBC
You must have TWO DSNs setup with a prefix of your choice and different suffix (_biz and _sys).
You will be asked only for the prefix during the installation.
If you are installing UNIX/Linux machine
You must set the permissions of the WCM directory to 777 before proceeding.
